I love spring!

I'm so excited that it's Spring! I just took an hour and a half walk and I absolutely loved it! It was exactly what I needed. Even in downtown Salt Lake you can hear the birds chirping and it was so warm outside. I've been overly stressed lately about everything with the wedding to the point that I didn't even want to talk about anything to do with it. I was lucky enough that I planned a lot of stuff right after we got engaged and then I got to take almost an entire month off of planning. It's a drastic change to now have deadlines of when things need to be decided by that are fast approaching. It doesn't help that I have 2 tests within a week of each other starting tomorrow. Anyway, back to my awesome walk. I decided when I got done with work today that I was going to walk to the Gateway to do a little bit of shopping and mainly just browse at some things. Lyle's apartment is very close to downtown so I just parked there and started walking. Normally I would just walk to the closest Trax stop but today I decided to walk all the way to the Gateway. It was so relaxing to just listen to my music and enjoy the amazing warmth. By the time I got there, I even had to take off my jacket. It's hard to believe that my parents house still has snow on the ground! It was a very successful shopping trip. I got shoes that I wanted for our engagement pictures and I got to people watch for a bit. I can't wait until it starts to stay warm at night so that Lyle and I can resume going on our walks more often. I'm such a baby when it comes to the cold and snow that we haven't done much of that since the Fall. I'm in such a better mood when it's warm and enjoyable outside! I didn't think that I would be that disappointed if it rained on my wedding and forced me to have my reception inside, but now that it's gotten warm I think I would be really sad! Let's hope for good weather on May 14th!
